Creating Collages: Add Photos, Add Text Overlays, Add Emoji Sticker Overlay Symbols, Change Background Color and Emoji Background Styles.

Creating Collages

There are two ways to create a collage utilizing this app, saving the collage as a photo in the photo library or saving the collage as a .png or .pdf file to your device’s file manager.

Settings Page & Background Color

On the Settings screen where a template for a collage can be selected, there are five types: Custom, Grid, Vertical, Horizontal, and Asymmetrical. The background color of the collage can be chosen on this screen by selecting the color control sphere next to the Background Color label. Brows the colors by grid, spectrum, or by using sliders or you can simply type in RGB values or Hexadecimal values and alter opacity. Press the “X” button at the top right of that window once a color hue is chosen.

Wallpaper Mode

The collage can also be automatically sized to fit a device type in Wallpaper Mode by toggling on the Wallpaper Mode toggle. There are four types of devices that wallpaper mode can design for: iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Select the "Continue to Collage" button at the bottom of the screen to move to the Collage screen.

Adding Photos

Navigate to the blue “+ Add Photo” button located at the bottom-left of the Collage screen. Pressing this button will allow you to locate and select photos within your photo library. Once selected, you can add the photos to the collage by pressing the “Add” button at the top-right of this window. The selected images will now be found in the collage according to the template type chosen on the Settings screen in the order the photos were selected.

Removing Photos

To remove photos in the collage, select the “Edit” button at the bottom-center of the Collage screen. This will show a red circle with an X in the middle on the top-right of each photo except in the Custom Template where the photo can be single-tapped to delete. Press that red circle with an x in the middle and the photo will disappear. Be sure to press the “Done” button that appears at the bottom-center of the screen to exit the Edit Mode and bring back the “Edit” button.

Adding Text Overlay

Press the “Add Text” button at the bottom-center of the Collage screen and a “New Text” text box will appear in the center of the collage. Feel free to drag the text box to a desired location on the collage. To change the text shown, double press on the text box and customize the text shown, the color of the text, font style, and if you would like the text box to be transparent to match the collage background.

Removing Text Overlay

To remove text overlays, simply press the “Clear Texts” button located at the bottom-left of the Collage screen.

Adding Emoji Sticker Overlay Symbols

Press the “Add Sticker” button at the bottom-right of the Collage screen. This will show a list of available Apple emojis. Scroll down the list to view additional emojis in the list. Select your desired emoji from the list and the emoji sticker overlay will appear in the collage. Drag and drop the emoji where preferred.

Removing Emoji Sticker Overlay Symbols

To remove emoji sticker overlays, simply press the “Clear Emoji Stickers” button located at the bottom-right of the Collage screen.

Change Back to White Background Color

Press the “< Back” button on the top-left of the Collage screen and select the color control sphere of the Settings screen by the “Background Color” label. Change the color to white and press the “X” button at the top right of that view window to reset the color of the background of the collage back to white.

Adding Emojis to the Background

To add emojis to the background of the collage, press the smiley face “Emojis” button at the bottom-center of the Collage screen. Scroll down through the list of apple emoji symbols and select any number of emojis that you would like to see in the background of the collage. Press the “Done” button at the top of that window view to set the background and the emojis will be present in the background of the collage.

Removing Emojis from the Background

Press the smiley face “Emojis” button at the bottom-center of the Collage screen. Press the “Reset” button at the top-left of the emoji list window view. Then press the “Done” button at the top-right of that same window view. The emojis will be removed from the background of the collage.

Saving the Collage as a Photo to Your Photo Library

Once your collage is made, simply press the “Save” button located at the bottom-right of the Collage screen and the collage will be automatically saved to your photo library.

Rating the App

By pressing the “Rate App” button at the bottom-left of the Collage screen you can select a desired 5-Star rating.
